Vocal Fusion™

Joshua is one of the Executive Directors of Vocal Fusion, Board President at Raptor Hallow Sanctuary, and IT Operations Supervisor for MAC LTT Inc. Although his schedule is terribly busy, Josh always has plenty of time for his wife Carly and their 2 kiddos Everleigh and Colt. No stranger to the stage, Josh starred in Beauty and the Beast(Lumiere), Anything Goes(Billy Crocker), and Music Man(Professor Harold Hill) at GlenOak while also singing in several concerts as a member of Notables, Drifters, Chorale, and Men’s Chorus. Josh also portrayed the legendary heroic outlaw in the North Canton Playhouse production of Robin Hood as a child. Some of his singing highlights include being named Canton Idol in the 2006 competition and opening for the famed Canton Motown group the O'Jays. After high school, he continued his performing career at Dollywood in a show called “Country Crossroads". He was the youngest cast member(18) and one of only three males in the show. Dollywood not only grew Josh as a performer, but also helped him check off an item on his bucket list. Meeting the Dreamer in Chief herself, Dolly Parton. Years after returning to Ohio, Josh joined Vox Audio where he sang and was the group’s Manager from 2018 to 2023. In his limited spare time, Josh enjoys traveling, camping, and all things Disney. 

Cory is an electrician and lives in North Canton with his wife and their three kids. Singing has always been the joy that rounds out his life, even before he could talk. A member of countless children’s and church choirs, Cory sang his way through his childhood while also using his love for music and rhythm to teach himself to play the drums. This love for music continued through childhood culminating in high school at GlenOak where he was a member of several choirs and groups including the GlenOak Notables, Drifters, and Chorale. Cory’s senior year was very rewarding, including being cast as Kenickie in GlenOak’s all school musical ‘Grease’ and receiving the award for Outstanding Soloist at the Western Michigan University, 29th Annual Gold Company Invitational Vocal Jazz Festival. After high school, he continued his singing in local groups and bands and also auditioned for American Idol and Disney Cruise Line before finally getting back on the main stage with Vox Audio from 2018 to 2023. Cory is extremely blessed to have such a loving wife, family, group of friends, and church that continually support him. He gives all thanks and glory to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Brian D. Kieffer, Artistic Director of Vocal Fusion™, has been the lead choral music director at GlenOak High School in the Plain Local Schools for the past 35 years.  Born and raised in North Canton, he received his undergraduate degree in music education from Bowling Green State University and a masters degree in choral conducting from Kent State University.  In addition, he has served as adjunct fine arts faculty since 2010 at Malone University  teaching applied voice, applied conducting, choral methods as well as conducting the women’s chorus and the high school honors choir.  Having an extensive church music interest and background, he was the worship leader and director of worship ministries at The Chapel in North Canton for 20 years.  An Ohio Music Educators Association adjudicator and sought after lecturer and clinician, Kieffer’s vocal jazz ensembles have performed at music educators’ conferences and have received numerous awards at district, state and national competitions as well as accolades from leaders in the field of jazz and choral music.  In 2018, he was honored as Stark County’s “Music Educator of the Year" by the Canton Symphony Orchestra.
