Vocal Fusion™ Youth Choir
The Vocal Fusion Youth Choir provides young singers with an exciting opportunity to explore their voices, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of making music together. Under the direction of Jessica Brister, the choir focuses on building strong vocal technique, teamwork, and artistry in a supportive and encouraging environment. This program is dedicated to making high-quality vocal music accessible to youth in our community. Through engaging rehearsals and inspiring performances, members not only develop musical ability but also life skills such as discipline, creativity, and collaboration. Together, we are nurturing a love of music and empowering the next generation of vocal talent.
Meet The Director
Vocal Fusion™ Youth Choir Artistic Director
Jessica Brister
Jessica Brister is a dedicated music educator with a passion for inspiring young learners through music. She currently teaches music to kindergarten, first, and second-grade students at North Canton Primary School. Jessica began her career at Northwest Middle School in Canal Fulton, Ohio, where she taught general music and directed choirs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Malone University and a Master of Music Education from the University of Akron.
Throughout her career, Jessica has remained actively involved in the musical community. In addition to her work in the classroom, she has directed a Women’s Ensemble and the PraiseTown Children’s Choir at The Chapel in North Canton and has taught private piano and voice lessons. She is an active member of the Ohio Music Educators Association and regularly participates in professional conferences and workshops to continue growing as an educator.
Jessica’s love of music began during her years at Jackson High School, where she was involved in both the Choir and Drama departments. Today, she is passionate about creating meaningful musical experiences that help children discover the joy and confidence that music can bring.
Jessica resides in North Canton with her husband and their two sons.
